Tonopah, Arizona: One person died in a traffic collision involving two semi-trucks that happened Wednesday evening on Interstate 10 in Tonopah, according to police.
Emergency crews responded to the eastbound lanes near 339th Avenue after receiving reports of the crash at around 6:30 p.m.
Two semi-trucks collided under unclear circumstances, killing one person at the scene.
Another person was evaluated for injuries but did not require hospitalization.
The eastbound lanes of I-10 were closed as authorities investigated.
