Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision on East Deer Park Milan Road in Deer Park
Spokane County, Washington: A woman died in a two-vehicle collision that happened Sunday morning in Deer Park, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said.
The wreck was reported just before 10 a.m. in the 2600 block of East Deer Park Milan Road.
The crash involved an SUV and a Ford F-250.
Responding sheriff’s deputies and firefighters from the Spokane County Fire District 4 found the woman who was driving the SUV suffering from life-threatening injuries.
The woman was declared dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford was treated for minor injuries.
A preliminary investigation showed that the SUV was traveling west on Deer Park Milan Road when the driver lost control, slid across the center line into opposing traffic, and collided with the Ford.
Investigators said speed and slick road conditions are possible factors contributing to the accident.

Sacramento County, California: Two people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon at an intersection in Antelope.
According to the Sacramento Metro Fire District, the accident occurred around 1:50 p.m. at Antelope and Roseville roads.
Three vehicles collided, trapping two occupants in the wreckage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the victims. The patients were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.

Kenneth Joseph McLeod Killed in Irvine Motorcycle Accident
Irvine, California: 65-year-old Kenneth Joseph McLeod died after he collided with a car while riding a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Irvine.
The accident was reported around 4:50 p.m. at Alton Parkway and Foster.
Investigators said McLeod was riding a motorcycle southbound on Alton when he ran a red light at Foster and crashed into a Tesla turning left from northbound Alton onto westbound Foster.
The Tesla had a green light at the time of the crash.
McLeod died at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Woman on Motorized Wheelchair Hit and Injured by Car in Victorville
Victorville, California: A woman riding a motorized wheelchair was injured when she was hit by a car Thursday morning at an intersection in Victorville.
The accident was reported around 8:48 a.m. at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road.
Victorville police, firefighters, and AMR responded to the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
A man driving a black Nissan was found at the scene but it was not clear if he was the driver involved in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
