2 Killed in Multi-Vehicle Collision in King County

King County, Washington: Two people died in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon in King County, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident happened at around 1 p.m. near SE Lake Ginder Road and Black Diamond Ravensdale Road.

Sheriff’s deputies, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the scene.

Two people were killed in the crash, authorities said.

The crash may have involved a motorcycle and at least two cars.

The collision is under investigation.

Woman Dies, Man Hospitalized After Crash on US-2 in Snohomish

Snohomish, Washington: A woman died, and a man was hospitalized after their vehicles collided Wednesday evening on a highway in Snohomish.

According to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred around 6:30 p.m. on U.S .2 near Three Lakes Road.

Two vehicles collided head-on, trapping both drivers inside.

Responding Snohomish Regional Fire and Rescue and Snohomish County Fire District #4 personnel used the jaws of life to extricate one of the drivers, a 23-year-old man, before transporting him to the hospital with serious injuries.

The other driver, a 55-year-old woman, was extricated and pronounced dead.

U.S. 2 at Three Lakes Road remained closed for nearly five hours following the collision.

The Washington State Patrol is investigating the accident.

Milpitas, California: One person sustained major injuries in a two-vehicle collision that took place Wednesday night in Milpitas.

The California Highway Patrol said the wreck occurred just before 9 p.m. on southbound Interstate 680, just north of the Jacklin Road off-ramp.

A black Lexus and a white Infiniti were involved in the collision.

One person sustained major injuries in the crash. Paramedics responded and transported the victim to the hospital in unknown condition.

All southbound lanes of I-680 north of Jacklin Road remained closed during the investigation.

3 Killed in Hesperia Crash at Mariposa Road and Mesquite Street in Hesperia Identified

Hesperia, California – Three people were killed in a head-on collision that happened on Tuesday afternoon in Hesperia.

The double-fatal crash happened on Mariposa Road at Mesquite Street at around 3:42 p.m., according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office.

45-year-old Pavlo Padilla was driving a Chevrolet Suburban when he veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a Toyota Corolla driven by 58-year-old Pedro Valencia-Perez.

Valencia-Perez and his two passengers, 22-year-old Jose Valencia-Saucedo and 59-year-old Rosa Saucedo-Negrete, were killed in the accident.

Francisco Valencia-Saucedo, 21, was riding in the Toyota and was hospitalized with major injuries.

More details about the accident were not released.

Padilla was arrested and charged with vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and felony DUI causing injury/death.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
