1 Airlifted After Fiery Somis Big Rig Crash on Highway 118
Somis, California: Two people were injured in a big rig accident that happened Tuesday afternoon on Highway 118 in Somis.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at around 5:30 p.m. near Mesa School Road.
A big rig and a car were involved in the accident.
Emergency personnel responded and pulled one person from the car. The victim was airlifted to a local hospital in an unknown condition.
Another person suffered minor injuries.
The highway was closed in both directions, and drivers were asked to use alternative routes.
