1 Airlifted After Multi-Vehicle Collision on South and Houghton Avenues in Corning
Corning, California: One person was airlifted to the hospital after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Friday afternoon near an intersection in Corning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident was reported around 5:14 p.m. on eastbound South Avenue and Houghton Avenue.
Four vehicles were involved in the crash.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and requested an air ambulance to transport a seriously injured person.
Enloe Flight Care responded and transported the patient to Enloe Medical Center in an unknown condition.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
