1 Dead, 2 Hurt in Highway 30 Crash in Columbia County
Columbia County, Oregon: The Oregon State Police is investigating a deadly collision that left a woman dead and two others hospitalized Saturday night in Columbia County.
Passenger Danielle Dawn Yoemans, 36, of Hillsboro, died in the crash, and passenger Katie Ann-Devona Witt, 24, of St. Helens, and driver Steven Bayard Sullivan, 34, of Hillsboro, were injured.
According to OSP, 27-year-old Salina Gable Malynn of St. Helens was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee westbound on the highway with Witt as her passenger.
Malynn crossed the eastbound lane intending to turn onto Butterfield Road, and her car was broadsided on its passenger side by an eastbound Ford Focus.
Sullivan was driving the Focus with Yoemans as his passenger.
The collision left Yoemans dead and Sullivan hospitalized with serious injuries.
Malynns’ passenger, Witt, was also hospitalized with unknown wounds. Malynn was not injured.
Police are investigating the accident.

Sacramento County, California: Two people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon at an intersection in Antelope.
According to the Sacramento Metro Fire District, the accident occurred around 1:50 p.m. at Antelope and Roseville roads.
Three vehicles collided, trapping two occupants in the wreckage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the victims. The patients were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.

Kenneth Joseph McLeod Killed in Irvine Motorcycle Accident
Irvine, California: 65-year-old Kenneth Joseph McLeod died after he collided with a car while riding a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Irvine.
The accident was reported around 4:50 p.m. at Alton Parkway and Foster.
Investigators said McLeod was riding a motorcycle southbound on Alton when he ran a red light at Foster and crashed into a Tesla turning left from northbound Alton onto westbound Foster.
The Tesla had a green light at the time of the crash.
McLeod died at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
Woman Hospitalized After Victorville Pedestrian Accident at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road
Woman on Motorized Wheelchair Hit and Injured by Car in Victorville
Victorville, California: A woman riding a motorized wheelchair was injured when she was hit by a car Thursday morning at an intersection in Victorville.
The accident was reported around 8:48 a.m. at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road.
Victorville police, firefighters, and AMR responded to the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
A man driving a black Nissan was found at the scene but it was not clear if he was the driver involved in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
