1 Dead after Visalia Crash on Highway 43 near Avenue 56
Visalia, California (June 30, 2023) – At least one person died in a two-vehicle collision that happened in Visalia on Saturday afternoon.
The accident was reported around 1:30 p.m. on Highway 43 near Avenue 56, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
A 25-year-old Fresno man was killed in the crash.
The driver of the second car, 33-year-old Steven Edward Nelson, of Bakersfield, was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
