1 Killed in North Hollywood Accident at West Magnolia Boulevard

North Hollywood, California (February 27, 2024) – A deadly two-vehicle accident left one person dead and injured three others, including a 10-month-old baby, on Sunday night in North Hollywood.

According to Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred a while after 7:00 p.m. on February 25 at West Magnolia Boulevard.

Police confirmed a gray sedan operated by a female party was heading northbound on the 170 Freeway exit at Magnolia Boulevard when it ran a red light and crashed into a dark-colored Honda CRV. The Honda rolled over due to the impact.

A 40-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were pinned inside the Honda and were extricated by responding firefighters. The man suffered fatal injuries following the collision.

The female party was hospitalized with critical injuries. The infant riding in the Honda was hospitalized for treatment and is stable.

The female sedan driver was also hospitalized and is expected to recover.

Police are yet to determine if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.

An investigation is ongoing.
