Sonora, California – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly accident that killed one individual on Friday morning in Sonora.
The accident occurred at about 7:00 a.m. on Highway 108 near Avenue J-59.
Police said a sedan reportedly drifted into the opposite lane and crashed into an approaching box truck.
The sedan driver died in the collision.
Heavy amount of fluid came out of the truck and filled the roadway. Hazmat officials responded to clean the roadway.
No other information regarding this collision was provided.
