1 Killed in Torrey Pines Motorcycle Accident on 5 Freeway near Carmel Valley Rd
San Diego, California – A 35-year-old man from San Diego was killed following a crash early Thursday morning in Torrey Pines, San Diego, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly collision occurred at around 1:00 a.m. on June 20, on Interstate 5 Freeway near Carmel Valley Road.
Police said the man was riding an Indian-brand two-wheeler on the southbound lanes when he rear-ended a Mini Cooper. The impact of the collision threw the motorcyclist and he was hit by an approaching Nissan Sentra.
Responding emergency teams rushed the man to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
