1 Dies in Sunday Morning Crash on Highway 74 in Lake Elsinore
Riverside, California – Authorities in Riverside County are investigating a car crash that claimed the life of one person on Sunday morning in Lake Elsinore.
At around 5:32 a.m., the Riverside County Fire Department received reports of a car crash on Highway 74 near Hammack Avenue.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident, but the manner in which the accident happened was not immediately established.

Authorities say one person died at the accident scene. The deceased person was not immediately identified.
One person suffered moderate injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
