Riverside County, California – At least one person was injured in a chain reaction crash that happened on Wednesday afternoon in Lake Elsinore.
At around 12:20 p.m., the California Highway Patrol received reports of a car crash that happened on southbound Interstate 15 near Railroad Canyon Road.
A Nissan Pathfinder SUV, a Nissan Sentra, a Ford F-250 pickup, a Toyota Tacoma pickup and a Toyota sedan were involved in the collision, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
The Riverside County Fire Department crews arrived at the scene and transported one injured person to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
