Atwater, Calif. – One person was seriously injured in a Saturday afternoon car accident in Atwater.
The accident happened on Elliot Avenue near Gurr Road at around 12:32 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles including a Chevrolet HHR were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
CHP says one person suffered major injuries in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
