Carlsbad, California – One person was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Carlsbad on Sunday afternoon.
The accident was reported at around 1:39 p.m. on the northbound 5 Freeway near Tamarack Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A red Tesla Model 3 is reported to have collided with a motorcycle in unclear circumstances.
The officers who responded to the incident found the rider down in the HOV lane.
The rider was injured in the accident and was transported to Scripps La Jolla Hospital for treatment.
