1 Injured in Compton Crash on 91 Freeway near Wilmington Ave
Compton, California – One person was injured in a fiery car crash that happened in Compton on Friday night.
The fatal crash happened at around 9:30 p.m. on the 91 Freeway near Wilmington Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. A BMW overturned onto its roof while the second vehicle caught fire after the collision.
A woman was able to exit the vehicle before it was consumed by flames.
The woman was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
