1 Injured in DUI Crash on Interstate 17 at Loop 101 in Phoenix
Phoenix, Arizona – One person was injured in a wrong-way car crash early Sunday morning in north Phoenix.
The accident was reported just after 2:45 a.m. at I-17 and the Loop 101, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
A vehicle was traveling the wrong way at the transition from Loop 101 eastbound to northbound I-17 when it crashed into another vehicle.
One person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
DPS believe impairment was a factor in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
