Driver Hospitalized after Crash at North and Dickenson Avenues in Fresno

1 Injured in Fresno Car Accident at North and Dickenson Avenues
Fresno, California – A driver was injured in a collision involving a big rig on Tuesday morning in Fresno.
The California Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 6:30 a.m. at North and Dickenson avenues.
A big rig driver reportedly failed to see a stop sign due to a glare from the sun and crashed into a car.
The impact sent the car into a canal while the truck jackknifed and came to a stop on the side of the canal.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital with unspecified injuries.
The crash caused fuel leakage from the truck and hazmat was called to the scene.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
