Santa Clarita, California: One person was hurt in a two-vehicle collision that happened Sunday night on 14 Freeway in Santa Clarita.
The accident was reported at about 8:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes near Soledad Canyon Road.
California Highway Patrol officers received reports of a crash involving a wrong-way driver and responded to the area.
The officers found two vehicles involved in the crash but did not immediately confirm whether either of the drivers was traveling in the wrong direction.
At least one person was injured in the crash.
Traffic was backed up for miles in the southbound lanes, but two lanes were operational.
