San Diego, California – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a dump truck on Wednesday morning in Hillcrest.
The 10:30 a.m. pedestrian accident happened in the 1100 block of University Avenue, according to the San Diego Police Department.
A dump truck is reported to have struck a pedestrian in unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian suffered major injuries and was transported to Scripps Mercy Hospital for treatment.
