1 Injured in Huntington Beach Crash at Garfield Avenue and Magnolia Street
Huntington Beach, California – One person was seriously injured in a crash that happened at an intersection in Huntington Beach on Wednesday morning.
The accident was reported around 10:30 a.m. in the area of Garfield Avenue and Magnolia Street, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.
A BMW was traveling eastbound on Garfield when it crashed into the driver’s side of a Nissan that was pulling out of a parking lot.
The impact of the collision caused the BMW to strike a Ford that was stopped in the westbound lane of Garfield.
A 59-year-old Huntington Beach woman driving the Nissan and his male passenger were transported to the hospital for treatment. Sadly, the woman succumbed to her injuries.
The driver of the BMW and the driver of the Ford were treated at the scene and released.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.

According to the Sacramento Metro Fire District, the accident occurred around 1:50 p.m. at Antelope and Roseville roads.
Three vehicles collided, trapping two occupants in the wreckage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the victims. The patients were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.

Irvine, California: 65-year-old Kenneth Joseph McLeod died after he collided with a car while riding a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Irvine.
The accident was reported around 4:50 p.m. at Alton Parkway and Foster.
Investigators said McLeod was riding a motorcycle southbound on Alton when he ran a red light at Foster and crashed into a Tesla turning left from northbound Alton onto westbound Foster.
The Tesla had a green light at the time of the crash.
McLeod died at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
Woman Hospitalized After Victorville Pedestrian Accident at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road
Woman on Motorized Wheelchair Hit and Injured by Car in Victorville
Victorville, California: A woman riding a motorized wheelchair was injured when she was hit by a car Thursday morning at an intersection in Victorville.
The accident was reported around 8:48 a.m. at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road.
Victorville police, firefighters, and AMR responded to the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
A man driving a black Nissan was found at the scene but it was not clear if he was the driver involved in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
