Sacramento, California: One person sustained major injuries in a motorcycle accident that happened Saturday morning in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident was reported at about 7:55 a.m. on the Greenback Lane off-ramp from the eastbound Interstate 80.
A motorcycle collided with a car for an unknown reason.
CHP officers and Sacramento firefighters responded to the scene.
One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
