Santa Cruz County, California – One person was hospitalized following a head-on collision that happed on Sunday afternoon in Santa Cruz County.
The California Highway Patrol says the accident was reported around 3 p.m. on Highway 9 near Fern Drive.
Two vehicles collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
One person sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Alcohol and drugs did not appear to be a factor in the crash.
CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
