1 Killed, 1 Injured in North Hollywood Crash
North Hollywood, California: One person died, and another was hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened early Saturday morning in North Hollywood.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision took place at around 12:40 a.m. at Sherman Way and Tujunga Avenue.
A pickup truck and a sedan were involved in the collision.
Police said a car was traveling on Tujunga when it ran a red light and hit another car heading eastbound on Sherman Way.
One driver, an adult woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver was transported to the hospital in moderate condition.
Police said drugs and alcohol were not contributing factors.
An investigation is ongoing.
