1 Killed, 2 Injured in DUI Crash on Highway 180 in Fresno County
Fresno County, California: One person died, and two others were injured in a DUI suspected collision that happened Friday evening in Fresno County.
The wreck was reported around 6:20 p.m. on Highway 180 near Grantland Avenue.
Authorities said the driver of a pickup truck was traveling westbound when, for an unknown reason, crossed over the center line and collided with a Kia Optima heading eastbound.
The driver of the Kia was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two 14-year-olds in the Kia were hospitalized with minor injuries.
Police officers arrested the pickup truck driver on suspicion of DUI. The driver was treated for minor injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
