1 Killed, 2 Injured in Head-On Crash at 55th Street East and East Avenue J in Lancaster
Lancaster, California – One person was killed and two others were injured in a head-on collision that happened on Saturday morning in Lancaster.
The California Highway Patrol says the accident was reported at around 6:27 a.m. at 55th Street East and East Avenue J.
A BMW was traveling westbound while a Ford was traveling eastbound.
For unknown reasons, the BMW drifted into the eastbound lane and into the path of a Ford, resulting in a head-on collision.
Three people were injured and were taken to Antelope Valley Medical Center by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics.
One person, who was a passenger in the Ford, succumbed to their injuries.
The other two patients had moderate injuries, police said.
