Los Angeles, California – One person was killed and two others, including a 5-year-old boy, were injured in a two-car crash on Thursday night in South Los Angeles.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident happened at around 9:30 p.m. on Figueroa Street.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident, but the events leading up to the collision were not immediately determined.
Three people were trapped inside the wreckage and were extricated by firefighters.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 5-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were taken to the hospital with major to moderate injuries.
