1 Killed, 3 Critically Hurt in Head-On Collision in Playa del Rey
Los Angeles, California: One person died, and three others were critically hurt in a traffic collision that happened Tuesday evening in Los Angeles’ Playa del Rey neighborhood.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash took place just before 8 p.m. in the 800 block of Vista Del Mar.
At least two vehicles, including a blue sedan and a white SUV, collided head-on.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and found several people with injuries, at least two of them trapped inside the wreckage.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Four others, including a 16-year-old boy, an 18-year-old boy, an 18-year-old girl and a 30-year-old woman, sustained injuries. At least three of them were hospitalized in critical condition.
The roadway was blocked during the investigation.
