South Park, California – One person was killed and three others were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred on Wednesday morning in South Park.
The collision was reported around 1:53 a.m. on 53rd Street, just east of Broadway, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Three vehicles were involved, but the circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately determined.
One person was trapped in the wreckage and was extricated by firefighters.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other people were taken to hospital with moderate to major injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
