1 Killed, 4 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision in Palm Springs
Palm Springs, California: One person died, and four others were injured in a multi-vehicle accident that happened Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Palm Springs.
According to the Palm Springs Police Department, the pileup occurred near Indian Canyon Drive and 20th Avenue.
Police said a driver was speeding southbound on Indian Canyon Drive when the car hit two other vehicles that slowed at the intersection with 20th Avenue.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other occupants in the car with fatality, including a juvenile, were transported to a local hospital with significant injuries.
The driver of the speeding car was also hospitalized.
PSPD is investigating the accident.
