1 Killed, 5 Injured in Wrong-Way Collision on SR-85 in Buckeye
Buckeye, Arizona: One person died, and five others suffered injuries after a wrong-way collision that happened Wednesday night near Buckeye, the Arizona Department of Public Safety reported.
The wreck occurred just before 10 p.m. on State Route 85 near Narramore Road.
According to investigators, the driver of a black sedan was driving the wrong way when they crashed into a car occupied by five people, including three teens.
The wrong-way driver died at the scene.
The occupants of the other cars suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
SR-85 was shut down for several hours during the investigation.
