1 Killed, 6 Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Collision in Reseda
Reseda, California: One person died, and six others were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle accident that happened Sunday morning in Reseda.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the pileup took place around 11:18 a.m. in the 18153 W. Vanowen Street.
The collision involved four vehicles and two other parked cars.
Responding firefighters found three occupants trapped. One was pronounced dead on arrival, and the other two were extricated from one car using hydraulic tools.
Eleven patients were evaluated at the scene and six were transported to the hospital.
A fire hydrant was also destroyed in the accident.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
