Man Killed, Four Hospitalized After Crash on South Normandie Avenue in Harvard Park
1 Killed, and 4 Critically Hurt in Harvard Park Crash on South Normandie Avenue
Los Angeles, California: One person died, and four others were hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened on New Year’s Eve in Harvard Park.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash occurred just after 11 p.m. in the 5000 block of South Normandie Avenue.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision.
A 30-year-old man and a 3-year-old girl were trapped in the wreckage. The man died at the scene before firefighters could perform extrication. The girl was extricated and transported to the hospital in grave condition.
Three other victims, a 1-year-old girl, a 9-year-old girl, and a 22-year-old man were ejected. All were hospitalized in critical condition.
Investigators did not immediately determine the cause of the collision.
