1 Killed and Another Critically Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision in Phoenix
Phoenix, Arizona: One person died, and another was critically hurt in a multi-vehicle accident that happened Sunday evening near an intersection in Phoenix.
Phoenix firefighters responded to 23rd Avenue and Happy Valley Road, where several vehicles collided around 6:30 p.m.
The firefighters found one person trapped inside one of the cars. The victim was freed and transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Another person was pronounced dead at the scene.
A third person was evaluated but declined transportation.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
