1 Killed, Another Injured in Fiery Multi-Vehicle Collision in the West Valley
Phoenix, Arizona: A person died, and another was injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Friday night near an intersection in the West Valley.
The Phoenix Fire Department said the collision occurred near 83rd Avenue and Thomas Road. The location is just northwest of the Talking Stick Resort Amphitheater and west of Desert Sky Mall.
Several vehicles collided, and one of them caught fire.
Firefighters responded and extinguished the flames.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the collision.
