San Bernardino, California – One person was killed in a collision involving a deputy on Saturday afternoon in Apple Valley.
The accident happened around 4 p.m. on Bear Valley Road, according to the Apple Valley Police Department.
The deputy was driving westbound on Bear Valley Road when he collided with a Toyota Corolla making a left turn into a parking lot.
The male driver of the Toyota was killed in the accident.
The deputy suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
