Victorville, California – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly accident that killed one individual and critically injured another early Sunday morning in Victorville.
The accident occurred at about 1:47 a.m. at La Mesa and Amethyst Roads.
According to a CHP report, a blue 2002 Ford Ranger and a black Toyota Camry crashed near Liberty Elementary School for unknown reasons. The Ford Ranger rolled over and landed on grass near the junction following the collision.
One person suffered fatal injuries due to the accident.
A second individual sustained critical injuries and was flown to a trauma center.

An investigation by the Victorville Police Department is ongoing.
