1 Killed in Antioch Crash at W 10th Street and Auto Center
Antioch, California – One person died in a multi-vehicle collision that left two other people critically injured on Sunday afternoon in Antioch.
According to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District, the accident was reported at around 4:08 p.m. in the area of W 10th Street and Auto Center.
Three vehicles were involved, but the events leading up to the collision were not immediately established.
The vehicles had only drivers inside and were all trapped in the wreckage after the crash.
Contra Costa firefighters responded to the crash and extricated the victims.
Sadly, one driver died at the accident scene.
A medical helicopter was requested to airlift one critically injured driver to the hospital.
The other driver was taken to hospital by an ambulance.
More details about the accident were not provided.
The accident remains under investigation.

According to the Sacramento Metro Fire District, the accident occurred around 1:50 p.m. at Antelope and Roseville roads.
Three vehicles collided, trapping two occupants in the wreckage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the victims. The patients were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.

Irvine, California: 65-year-old Kenneth Joseph McLeod died after he collided with a car while riding a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Irvine.
The accident was reported around 4:50 p.m. at Alton Parkway and Foster.
Investigators said McLeod was riding a motorcycle southbound on Alton when he ran a red light at Foster and crashed into a Tesla turning left from northbound Alton onto westbound Foster.
The Tesla had a green light at the time of the crash.
McLeod died at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Woman on Motorized Wheelchair Hit and Injured by Car in Victorville
Victorville, California: A woman riding a motorized wheelchair was injured when she was hit by a car Thursday morning at an intersection in Victorville.
The accident was reported around 8:48 a.m. at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road.
Victorville police, firefighters, and AMR responded to the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
A man driving a black Nissan was found at the scene but it was not clear if he was the driver involved in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
