1 Killed in Antioch Motorcycle Accident at 4th and L Streets
Antioch, California – A 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed and a 57-year-old driver was injured in a collision at an intersection in Antioch on Wednesday evening.
Authorities say the accident happened at around 5:39 p.m. in the area of 4th and L streets.
A man was riding a dirt bike heading southbound on L Street when he failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a white van that had entered the intersection.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The van driver was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The names of the victims were not disclosed.
The accident remains under investigation.
