1 Killed in Apple Valley Crash involving Dirt Bike on Bear Valley Road
San Bernardino, California – A man died after being struck by a car as he rode a dirt bike in Apple Valley.
The fatal collision was reported around 7:15 p.m. on Bear Valley Road near Navajo Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The man was riding a dirt bike westbound on the highway when an SUV traveling eastbound on Bear Valley made a left turn in front of the rider and the vehicles collided.
The rider was found unconscious ad was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The SUV driver was bleeding from the face.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
