Bakersfield, California – At least one person died in a car crash that happened in Bakersfield on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 2:29 p.m. on Caliente Bodfish Road just north of Caliente Creek.
Multiple vehicles were involved in the collision. One vehicle rolled over after the collision, ejecting one person.
The ejected party was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
One person was pinned in a vehicle and had to be extricated.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
