1 Killed in Car Collision at West Phoenix Intersection
Phoenix, Arizona: One person died in a traffic crash that happened Tuesday night near an intersection in west Phoenix.
The wreck was reported around 10:45 p.m. near 83rd Avenue and Thomas Road.
At least two cars collided under unclear circumstances. The vehicles knocked a power box and a light pole at the intersection.
An occupant in one of the cars was pulled from the vehicle and later pronounced dead.
Authorities did not immediately determine what transpired leading to the accident.
