1 Killed in Carlsbad Crash on 5 Freeway near Cannon Road
Carlsbad, California – At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle collision that happened in Carlsbad on Sunday night.
The fatal crash happened at around 9:47 p.m. on the San Diego (5) Freeway at Cannon Road, an exit to Legoland.
The California Highway Patrol says a dark sedan, gray pickup truck and a Jeep were involved in the accident. The sedan and the pickup truck reportedly overturned after the collision.
CHP says at least one person died in the crash.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
