Carlsbad, California – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Carlsbad on Saturday morning.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident was reported around 2:20 a.m. on the San Diego (5) Freeway at Poinsettia Lane, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A pedestrian was reportedly struck by a vehicle on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
The victim was found lying unresponsive on the freeway and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
