1 Killed in Chico Car Accident at East Avenue and Cohasset Road
Chico, California – One person died in a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday night in Chico, according to the Chico Police Department.
At around 9:45 p.m., multiple agencies including the Butte County Sheriff’s Office, Cal Fire-Butte County, as well Chico Fire Department and the California Highway responded to reports of a car crash at the intersection of East Avenue and Cohasset Road.
Two vehicles reportedly collided on the highway in unclear circumstances.
One person was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Another person was injured in the accident and was taken to Enloe Medical Center.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
