Chico, California – At least one person died in a head-on collision that happened in Forest Ranch near Chico on Thursday afternoon.
The fatal crash was reported around 3:15 p.m. on Highway 32 near Nopel Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles reportedly collided head-on on the highway in unclear circumstances.
CAL FIRE responded to the incident and had to extricate one person who was trapped in the accident.
At least one person was killed in the accident.
