1 Killed in Collision at Garey Avenue and Alvarado Street in Pomona
Pomona, California – A driver was killed in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred in Pomona on Friday night.
According to the Pomona Police Department, the accident happened at Garey Avenue and Alvarado Street at around 7:34 p.m.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash, but the circumstances which led to the collision were not immediately determined.
All three drivers sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital where one of them succumbed to their injuries.
The Major Accident Investigation Team responded to the crash and is carrying out the investigation.

Santa Maria, California: One person was seriously injured in a traffic collision that happened Friday morning in Santa Maria.
The California Highway Patrol said the incident occurred around 5:42 a.m. in the 1599 block of East Betteravia Road.
A red Nissan sedan and a white sedan were involved in the crash.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and found one person with major injuries. The patient was hospitalized in unknown condition.
CHP officers are investigating the accident.

Orangevale, California – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal collision that left a bicyclist dead on Thursday afternoon in Orangevale.
The deadly crash happened at the intersection of Elm and Beach avenues at around 4:30 a.m., according to the police.
The man was riding the electric bicycle heading south on Beech Avenue approaching Elm Avenue while a pickup truck was traveling eastbound on Elm Avenue.
Both the bicyclist and the driver entered the intersection at the same time and collided.
The bicyclist was killed in the crash.
The pickup driver was not injured and stayed at the scene after the crash.
More details regarding the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Man Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Highway 180
Fresno, California – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident that happened on Thursday morning in Fresno.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident occurred at around 10:45 a.m. on Highway 180 near Highway 41.
The man reportedly ran across the highway directly in front of a car and was hit.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the man was not immediately disclosed
Alcohol and drugs did not appear to be a factor in the accident.

The accident remains under investigation.
