Santa Barbara, California – One person was killed in a traffic collision that left five others injured early Saturday morning in Santa Barbara.
The fatal collision was reported at around 1:46 a.m. on Highway 154 near San Antonio Creek Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A white Nissan Altima and a black Infiniti SUV were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
The male driver of the Nissan was killed in the accident.
Authorities say five adults in the SUV were transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. Two patients were in critical condition, while three had moderate injuries.
