1 Killed in Crash on 110 Freeway in Pasadena

Los Angeles, California – One person died and four others were injured in a traffic collision caused by a vehicle that failed to stop at a traffic stop in Pasadena early Sunday morning.

The fatal collision happened at around 12:30 a.m. on the 110 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A CHP officer reportedly initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that was traveling without lights and having difficulty staying in its lane.

The motorist failed to stop and drove off at a high rate of speed.

A short time later, the suspect crashed into two other vehicles stopped at a red light.

The driver of the speeding vehicle was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

Four people from the other involved vehicles were hospitalized with major to minor injuries.
