1 Killed in Crash on Clear Lake Road near Goodman Road in Eugene
Eugene, Oregon – At least one person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Wednesday afternoon in Eugene.
According to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 12:13 p.m. on May 17, on Clear Lake Road near Goodman Road.
The officers who responded to the incident located three vehicles at the accident scene. One of the cars reportedly caught fire after the collision.
One person was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Another person was injured and was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
A third person, believed to have been somehow involved in the crash, fled the scene and was yet to be located.
More details about the crash were not released.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
