Adelanto, California – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision that happened in Adelanto on Thursday afternoon.
According to the authorities, the collision was reported on Halloween Day at around 1:40 p.m. on Highway 395 near Auburn Avenue.
The accident involved a white 2001 Chevrolet Blazer SUV, a blue 2016 VW Golf and a tractor-trailer, but the events that led to the crash were not immediately determined.
One person was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Two others sustained minor injuries, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department.
The identity of the deceased person was not disclosed pending notification of the family.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
